James G. Palumbo is the founder and principal of Oxford Asset Management. Mr. Palumbo and has held a NASD Series 7 General Securities License, State of Texas Series 63 Uniform Securities License, State of Texas Variable Securities License, and currently holds Group 1 and 2 Legal Reserve Licenses for Texas and is a member of the National Endowment for Financial Education. In addition, Mr. Palumbo is the owner & principal of OneSource Financial Services, Inc. an independent General Insurance Agency and holds Life and Health and Accident licenses for the states of Texas, New Mexico, Colorado, and Oregon.
Born in Detroit, Michigan, in 1961, Mr. Palumbo graduated from Lakeshore High School in 1979 and Pinecrest Theological Seminary in 1982. After ten years of management experience, he founded Impact Personal Development Co., a New York consulting firm specializing in management training before bringing his experience to the Financial Services industry.
Jose G. Longoria Jr. graduated from Roma High School in 1971 and attended Texas A&I University from 1971-1974. Prior to his financial career; Mr. Longoria worked in energy from 1977-1992, with Sunoco and Valero. Mr. Longoria entered the financial industry in 1995 and is registered in Texas with licenses in: Life and Health, Joe held his NASD Series 6, 63 and 7 prior to focusing entirely on his Investment Advisory Practice.
Stephen M. Pease, CFP® Professional, and Investment Advisor Representative has held NASD Series 7 General Securities License, State of Colorado Series 63 Uniform Securities License, State of Colorado Variable Securities License. He currently holds a Life and Health and Accident license for Colorado and New Mexico.
He graduated from Durango High School in 1975 and, in 1980, completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Geophysical Engineering at the Colorado School of Mines in Golden, Colorado. Prior to entering the financial services industry, Steve spent twenty-one years with Mobil Oil and Exxon Mobil as a geophysicist before moving back to his hometown with his family.
David Smiley CFP® Professional,was born and raised in Fort Wayne Indiana, graduated from Bishop Luers High School in 1974, graduated from Miami University in 1978 with a BA in Microbiology and then obtained a MS degree in Biological Sciences from Illinois State University in 1981. Prior to joining Oxford Asset Management, Dave was a scientist for 27 years. The last 15 years, he worked as Process Development Scientist at Amgen in Longmont Colorado. He managed a group that assisted in commercialization activities for several Amgen products (Kepivance™, Aranesp™, Kineret™). He is registered as an Investment Advisor Representative and maintains a life and health insurance license for the state of Colorado.
Jason A. Habbit was born and raised in Lafayette, Louisiana. He is a graduate of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette with a degree in Finance. He started his career with Bank One in 2002 and in February of 2005 he moved on to be an independent representative. He has held licenses as a Loan Originator, NASD Series 7 General Securities License, and State of Louisiana Series 66 Uniform Securities License. He currently holds Life & Health Insurance for the state of Louisiana.
Terry Delhomme is an Investment Advisor Representative with Oxford Asset Management. Terry was born, raised and educated in Lafayette, Louisiana. He is a 1980 graduate of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette with a Bachelor's in Business Administration, with a major in Accounting. He is a licensed agent in Louisiana for Life and Health Insurance, and currently holds a NASD Series 6 and State of Louisiana Series 65 Uniform Securities License. Terry is also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and seves as Managing Partner of the Lafayette based accounting firm of Delhomme, McDowell, and Associates, LLC. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Louisiana State Society of CPA's.
David Varisco is an Investment Advisory Representative with Oxford. He earned his LUTCF designation in 1995, and is a lifelong resident of Lafayette. In 1989 he established his insurance and investment practice; his son Brandon joined in 2008. He is the past president of the Acadiana Association of Health Underwriters and NAIFA Acadiana, was named Htealth Insurance Agent of the year in 1992 and is well known for being a founding member of the Cajun Rock group Atchafalaya as well as the mascot for the Louisiana Icegators Hockey Team and is the drummer for Lafayette's Bayou Boys and Full Circle.
Brandon Varisco is an Investment Advisor Representative with Oxford. He is currently enrolled in the University of Phoenix with a major in Finance. He served more than 6 years active duty with the 82nd Airborne Division, completed two combat deployments; one in Afghanistan, and one in Iraq. Brandon also provided airspace protection around Camp David with the Secret Service for President George W. Bush. He was honorably discharged with 2 Army Accommodation medals, an Army Combat Action badge, an Overseas medal, a Global War on Terrorism medal, Afghanistan and Iraq campaign medal, 3 Air Medals and another Air Medal with Valor.
